Early Ministry and Education Pastor Boyd began his ministry at First New Shiloh Baptist Church, where he served as an Associate Pastor under the mentorship of Senior Pastor Michael K. Cash from January 1991 to September 2003. During this time, he coordinated youth and adult education programs, developed the Youth Department, and organized community service projects. His commitment to pastoral care and support for congregation members was evident in his daily interactions and leadership. In pursuit of further education, Pastor Boyd completed coursework in Electronic Media Technology at the University of Cincinnati in 2008 and earned an Associate of Business Management degree from Brown Mackie College in 2005. This diverse educational background equipped him with skills in audio/visual technology, graphic arts, web development, and business management, which he has effectively integrated into his ministry. Founding Grace Christian Church In March 2012, Pastor Boyd with wife and first lady Marcia Boyd, founded Grace Christian Church, where he served as Senior Pastor until March 2020. As the leader of this congregation, he delivered impactful sermons, designed and led weekly Bible training sessions, and provided pastoral care to individuals and families in need. He also oversaw church administration, including budgeting, fundraising, and event planning, and developed community outreach programs to engage and support the local community. His leadership extended to training, mentoring, and supporting congregants to assume leadership roles within the church. Current Ministry Pastor Boyd is now seeking to bring his skills and passion to First New Shiloh Baptist Church. With a proven ability to deliver inspiring sermons, manage church operations, and support parishioners through life's challenges, he is committed to continuing his mission of fostering spiritual growth and community engagement. FAMILY Rashaan met his wife, Marcia, through a friend while she was visiting First New Shiloh in 1997. They were married in 2001. Pastor Boyd & Marcia are the proud parents of Rashaan Boyd II 2023 graduate of The Ohio State University and Amaya Boyd, 2024 graduate of The University of Cincinnati. Lady Marcia Boyd, Rashaan’s devoted partner in life and ministry, has spent more than 25 years working as a technology professional. She has both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Information Technology. As a believer in service, she spends time serving the community with her talents through Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, First Ladies for Health and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
